We are so happy to now be offering our beginner sourdough class in collaboration with Needle Creek Brewery! Our goal is to empower you, using simple methods and great, local ingredients and connect you to the land and one another in the process.

About the event
We are excited to offer this newest Sourdough 101 Class at Needle Creek Brewery! This larger space will allow the chance for more people to join as both our founder Mary Parr and one of our wonderful bakers, Helen Shpits will be co-teaching.
This class takes you from dough to loaf! You will be given a bowl to mix in during class and then take your dough home with you to bake the next day. From the important steps of creating and caring for your starter, to shaping your dough and creating that perfect crust, Mary and Helen will teach you everything you need to know to start your sourdough journey. At the end of class, there will be an extended Q&A to break bread together and ask all of your questions! Plus, the brewery opens at noon so you can stay and enjoy a drink or a beer and…
